This week we showcase an earlier blog written by a guest called Tom Cowley. Tom writes about how he, along with others, met one evening at one of PlanLab's Strategy Hacks, where they helped the charity Near Neighbours come up with new ideas of how to engage supporters. Innovation can be easy and fun, as Tom demonstrates and produce excellent ideas for social good. What's more, is that doing it this way engages potential new supporters in the design process. It also acts as a way to collaborate and involve stakeholders at a deeper level than only donating and volunteering. It gives ownership to the stakeholder, which we think is a much stickier way to build deep supporter relations.
